What Shipping Methods are Available?

We use UPS for all domestic shipping.

What are Shipping Times and Costs? 

We ship all orders within 2-3 working days of receipt (cut off is 1pm, PST). Standard domestic shipping, around 5-day transit, is free-of-charge with your order.

Expedited orders will require additional payment during the check out process.  

What kind of light bulb do I need?

Lamps are 120V. 

All lamps require an Edison (medium) light bulb, NOT SUPPLIED. Maximum wattage is 60Watts incandescent, 13W CFL (compact fluorescent) or LED equivalent. 

Rechargeable Lamps come with a built-in powerful single LED and it takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge. At full brightness, it will last approximately 8 hour; at medium brightness it will last over 14 hours. 

Does the lamp require any assembly?

The Tripod Lamps come fully assembled and ready to go. 

The Tall Lamps come with the lamp shade packed upside-down to save space. Upon opening the box, please remove the shade from the base by unscrewing the plastic ring, turn the shade right-side-up and reattach to the base using the plastic ring. This process should take less than 30 seconds!

Rechargeable Lamps come fully assembled. 

What are the specs for the lamps and shades?

Tall Lamps are 20”tall x 7”wide (at the shade) and it comes with an on/off pull chain at socket. 

Tripod Lamps are 11” tall x 8” wide (at very bottom) and it with an in-cord on/off switch. 

Lamp Shades for Tall Lamps and Tripod Lamps are 9” tall x 7” wide.

Rechargeable Lamps are 15” tall and 3.5” wide (at very bottom). They come with a USB charging cable and a dimmer on the base itself. 

Shade for Rechargeable lamp is 8”tall x 6”wide. 

What are the lamps and shades materials?

Shades for Tall Lamps and Tripod Lamps are printed in high resolution on back-lit Polyester (a type of plastic) especially made for optimum results in back lighting, using archival, non-fade inks. 

Shades for Rechargeable Lamps are printed in high resolution on translucent Polystyrene, especially made for lampshades. Inks are UV and water-resistant. 

“Premium” shades (when available) are printed on cotton broadcloth laminated onto Polystyrene. When light is on, it will have a “grainy” effect on the print.  

Tripod bases are made of galvanized steel.

Tall bases are made of steel with a very durable powder coating finish.  

Rechargeable bases are made of metal with a powder-coated finish. It’s water-resistant. 

 

Can I use my lamps outdoors?

Tall Lamps and Tripods were designed to be used indoors only, preferably in low humidity areas, as any and all electrical appliances. 

Rechargeable Lamps are made for indoor/outdoor use and they are water-resistant. But of course they will last longer if they’re stored indoors when not used. 

Where are the lamps made?

All shades are printed in-house and on-demand. The shades’ internal wire frame is also made in-house, with locally-sourced galvanized steel. The fabric trim top and bottom is produced locally as well, with locally-sourced fabric.

Tripod bases are made in-house with locally-sourced galvanized steel.

Tall bases and Rechargeable bases are all imports.  

All the lamps UL or ETL certified?

Yes. They are either certified or built with UL certified materials.
